Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has hinted at becoming a member of filmmaker Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe with a film tentatively titled Vampire. There is concept that the franchise, which began with Amar Kaushik’s Stree (2018), will increase with Vampire, that includes Ayushmann and Yashoda star Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Asked concerning the standing of Vampire, Ayushmann stated the makers will share an official announcement quickly. “Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik are trying to build a horror universe. It is very interesting and intriguing and it is very new for the Indian audience. So, let’s see when it happens and we will have an official announcement soon,” the 38-year-old actor instructed PTI in an interview.
The National Award winner beforehand collaborated with Vijan and Kaushik on the 2019 blockbuster Bala. As per experiences, Vampire can be primarily based on a folklore from Rajasthan. Ayushmann will essay the position of a vampire, whereas Samantha will play a princess.
This would be the fourth title within the Maddock Films-backed horror-comedy universe after Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree, Roohi — that includes Rao, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Sharma– and the upcoming Bhediya with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon.
Ayushmann, who’s gearing up for the discharge of his film An Action Hero, can even be seen in Dream Girl 2. The 2019 comedy-drama revolved round a person who builds a profession out of impersonating a feminine voice. The actor stated the second installment of Ekta Kapoor-produced franchise can be an entertaining film with an underlying social message.
“There can be a component of the primary one, however it’s a brand-new story. It (movie) is extra business than the primary one. It is nicely mounted.
“More than the messaging or social commentary, it is the entertainment that I want to concentrate on. The entertainment quotient has to be high. That is what I have learnt in these two years (of COVID-19),” he stated.
Also that includes Ananya Panday, Dream Girl 2 can have Raaj Shaandilyaa return because the director. Ayushmann stated the workforce is hoping to complete the shoot within the subsequent 15 days.
