The Surreal Romance of Salvador and Gala Dalí

In summer season 1929, a number of members of Europe’s surrealist artwork society descended on the coastal city of Cadaqués, within the Catalonia area of northeast Spain, to fulfill with a promising younger painter named Salvador Dalí.

Dalí had signed on for what was to be his first solo exhibition in Paris in November, however he was displaying all kinds of strange habits, together with uncontrollable matches of laughter. The visiting group, which included French poet Paul Éluard, anxious that the proficient however eccentric artist could be unable to concentrate on ending sufficient items to fill the gallery area.
