It’s official: Kim So Hyun is starring within the upcoming drama “Useless Lies” (literal translation)!
On November 11, Kim So Hyun’s company IEUM Hashtag introduced, “Kim So Hyun has been solid as Mok Sol Hee within the new drama ‘Useless Lies.’”
“Useless Lies” is a mystery romance drama about a woman who can hear lies and a murder suspect whom no one believes is innocent. Kim So Hyun will be starring as Mok Sol Hee, whose supernatural ability to hear lies has made her lose faith in other people. Mok Sol Hee considers her special power a curse, but she attempts to use it for good by becoming a “liar hunter” who searches for the truth.
Back in September, former NU’EST member Hwang Minhyun’s company PLEDIS Entertainment confirmed that the idol-turned-actor had been provided the male lead and was in talks to star within the drama.
“Useless Lies” is presently scheduled to premiere in 2023.
